igned by S. is a multi brand ambassador agency for high-end design. Since 2008 we represent furniture, lighting and decoration brands across Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Monaco, for the people who specify and buy them. Architects, interior architects, designers and decorators, design and build companies, prescribers, luxury retail and hospitality.
We work in whatever form serves the brand best. For some we’re the agent; we carry your name into the market and stay accountable for what happens to it there, without ever becoming the wall between you and your customer. For others we’re the importer, holding stock and handling distribution end to end, so a brand has a single, reliable point of entry into our markets. Either way the job is the same: your design, in the right place, properly serviced.
Alongside the established brands, we help emerging designers make their first commercial decisions, because we spend our days at the exact point where good design either finds its market or quietly doesn’t.
The story of the name “Signed by S.“
Before the agency, Sigrid worked as an interior architect, renovating homes with a distinctive eye for detail. One of her closest friends, Goldie, worked in real estate and visited countless homes every week. Time and again, she would walk into a house and immediately know Sigrid had been involved. She didn’t need to see a name or a business card, she simply recognised the signature.
One day, Goldie said: “I always know when a place has been touched by you. It’s signed by Sigrid.” Neither of them realised it at the time, but those simple words would one day become the name of the design agency.
In 2008, Signed by S. was born. Goldie is still one of Sigrid’s dearest friends. The work has changed over the years, from designing interiors to curating exceptional design brands, but one thing never changed. The desire to leave a thoughtful, personal signature.

Sigrid still selects the way she did then: something has to hit her before it can hit a market. Every brand in the portfolio was a coup de foudre first and a business case second, and eighteen years plus have proven the two aren’t enemies. She is the one who sees, across a crowded fair and in five minutes, which object has a reason to exist.
It’s an instinct brands lean on. Before a collection has sold a single piece here, she can tell where it belongs, which room it was made for, and which of our clients will fall for it the way she did.
Wim Labie
Wim grew up inside a furniture business. He watched his father build one the old school way, by finding every customer himself, and learned early that the making was never the hard part. He spent nearly 3 decades in mass retail and commercial & digital strategy before coming back to design on purpose, on the side of the table where the selling happens.
He is allergic to “the product will speak for itself.” It won’t. What carries a beautiful object to the right project is the unglamorous part: the right price, the right partner, the follow-up that actually happens. That’s the part he builds.
